Work of Graphic Design Alumnus Featured in San Francisco Exhibition

Alumni Event Image
New work by Graphic Design alumnus Scott Patt will be featured in an exhibition at Mark Wolfe Contemporary Art from September 13-October 31, 2013. Titled "The Mumbo Jumbo Paintings", the work was created from Scott Patt’s lifelong obsession with the visual and the verbal. From big business advertising to home made hoopla we are bombarded daily with obnoxious and mind cluttering media and message. Opportunistically nearsighted, Patt created Mumbo Jumbo as a filter to streamline and transmute this loaded information and imagery into oases of vibrant landscapes composed of shapes, rhythms, personalities and colors. With this new collection Patt evolves and unites the graphic language of his bold “Good Luck Hex” series and the fluid forms of his successful “Stays Crunchy in Milk” work into a more distilled take on the world around him. Mumbo Jumbo, mumbo jumbo, mumbo jumbo.... Mark Wolfe Contemporary Art 1 Sutter Street, Suite 300 San Francisco, CA 94104
