Diavolo Dance Theater to Perform Debut of Skateboard-Inspired Transit Space

When Diavolo dance theater of Los Angeles performs the world premiere of Transit Space at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 19, in Eisenhower Auditorium, a number of Penn State students will be in the audience. Some will be more than observers.

Diavolo Artistic Director Jacques Heim created Transit Space, a work commissioned by the Center for the Performing Arts at Penn State, with the help of 10 university students who traveled to Los Angeles last June as part of a Creative Campus Innovations Grant Program collaboration called The Secret Life of Public Spaces.
