First-year applicants:
- A complete undergraduate application includes application, high school transcript, and SAT or ACT scores.
- Offers of admission are made by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
- The decision is based both on acceptable academic credentials and a successful interview, portfolio and/or audition.
Terminology:
- First-year: Applicant to Penn State who has not completed more than 17 credits post high school graduation.
- Transfer/Advanced Standing: Applicant to Penn State who will have completed 18 credits at another University.
- Change of Major: Current Penn State student attending University Park Campus.
- Change of Major and Change of Campus: Current Penn State student attending a Penn State campus other than University Park.
