December 2016 All-College Celebration

Arts and Architecture faculty and staff are invited to a celebration of faculty and staff service awards and other achievements on Wednesday, December 14 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the Nittany Lion Inn Ballroom. This will be immediately followed by a holiday reception from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Alumni Lounge and Lobby at the Inn. Please reply no later than December 2 so that arrangements can be made for adequate seating in the Ballroom, and for food and beverage at the reception.

The Staff Advisory Council will also host a food drive to benefit the State College Food Bank.  Non-perishable food items will be accepted at a table in front of the banquet room.

State College Food Bank Current Needs List updated 11/2/2016:
  • Soups (especially Progresso or chunky styles)
  • Spaghetti/Pasta Sauce
  • Pasta/Noodles (spaghetti, any pasta type, egg, etc.)
  • Cereal or Oatmeal
  • Canned vegetables
  • Canned fruits
  • Sugar
  • Canned meats (chicken, Spam, tuna, etc.)
  • Gluten-free product (any type, but especially pasta, cereal, etc.)
  • Mayonnaise
  • Condiments (ketchup, mustard, barbecue sauce, etc.)
  • Juice (100%)
  • Salad Dressing (Ranch, Italian, etc.)
  • Rice/Rice sides
  • Tomato Product (diced, stew, paste, sauce, etc.)
  • Protein beans
  • Coffee
  • Tea
  • Hot Chocolate
  • Oil
  • Beverages (Gatorade, etc.)
  • Shampoo and conditioner
  • Toothpaste and toothbrushes
  • Deodorant
  • Feminine products
  • Laundry detergent
  • Soap (bars/liquid)
They are NOT in need of the following:  Baby Food, Baby Formula
They are currently accepting egg cartons.  They must be in clean/good condition.  Thank you!
