You’re invited to the 7th Annual Penn State President’s Concert on Friday, Feb. 8, at the National Presbyterian Church in Washington, D.C., featuring the Penn State Concert Choir, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Baroque Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, a marimba duo, and a piano soloist. The concert will also include pipe organ accompaniment by William Neil ’66, 2011 Alumni Fellow and internationally acclaimed organist. Hosted by Penn State President Rodney Erickson and sponsored by the Penn State Alumni Association, in partnership with the School of Music, the 7:30 p.m. concert is guaranteed to be both exciting and memorable, as the church’s sanctuary is well known for its dynamic acoustics. Alumni and friends can enjoy refreshments and hors d’oeuvres while socializing with other Penn Staters. Those attending the reception will be escorted to reserved seating for the President’s Concert. Details: The pre-reception is $20 for Alumni Association members; $30 for non-members; $5 for students aged 6–17; and free for children five and under.
