Purpose | The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize undergraduate students approaching their final year of study who have maintained a high level of academic achievement (3.0 cumulative grade- point average or better) while exhibiting outstanding leadership or service in at least one of the following areas:
- Participation in extracurricular activities, such as clubs or student government
- Maintaining an employment schedule (work-study or off-campus)
- Community service, or service to the academic department, school, or college
Financial Support | The financial support for this award comes from members and friends of the Arts and Architecture Alumni Society. These alumni believe that Penn State’s strength lies in its outstanding student body. It is their goal to use this award to recognize student achievement and potential.
Eligibility | This award will be presented only to undergraduate students who are approaching their final year of study in 2018-2019. Eligible students must have graduation dates of fall 2018, spring 2019, or summer 2019.
Nature of the Award | The recipients shall receive a $1000 tuition remission, credited in fall 2018. Up to seven awards will be made.
Completed applications are due by February 23, 2018 via online submission.
