Landscape Architecture Students Visit Penn College for Masonry Workshop

Professors Tim Baird and Barry Kew recently took Penn State’s LArch 331 Materials & Methods class of third-year landscape architecture students and several graduate students to Williamsport, PA, for an applied course in masonry at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Led by Glenn Luse, Penn College instructor of construction technology, students learned to lay brick, build arches, and apply cultured stone during a series of thirty-minute workshops with Pennsylvania College of Technology students assisting them in technique and application.
