Cindy Doliana’s art is not for impatient people.

Doliana, 48, of Warriors Mark, creates intricate abstract woodblock prints. In doing so, she uses several layers of paint, sometimes as many as 25, requiring new cuts to her master board each time.

Every color means she must undertake a meticulous routine of aligning the wooden board and paper correctly before they go through the press.

“It’s a slow process,” she said. “It’s a long process.”
