Palmer Museum of Art Presents The Art of Poetry Summer Reading

Join us as we welcome three African poets, from the Western, Southern, and Northern regions of the continent for a special poetry reading titled Meet Africa: North, South, and West at the Palmer Museum of Art on Thursday, July 18, at 12:10 p.m.

Patricia Jabbeh Wesley, Associate Professor of English at Penn State Altoona, and Gabeba Baderoon, assistant professor of Women's studies and African studies, will read along with El Habib Louai, a poet, translator, and high school English teacher from Morocco, North Africa.

The Palmer Museum of Art at Penn State is located on Curtin Road and admission is free. Museum hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 4:00 p.m. The museum is closed Mondays and some holidays.
