The College of Arts and Architecture Office of Digital Learning has officially announced its course offerings for the upcoming summer semesters. Students have the opportunity to choose from a diverse course catalog of art, music, design and related subjects to further explore their creative passion. These summer semesters allow students to get ahead on coursework and to fulfill general education requirements with the luxury of completing the courses from anywhere in the world!
“The summer semester is an ideal fit with online courses, allowing our students to attend from anywhere. We're pleased to be able to offer a range of courses that span multiple disciplines and permit students to have an Arts and Architecture experience,” said Gary Chinn, assistant dean for digital learning.
Summer online courses allow students to catch up or speed up their progress in pursuit of their degrees. The sessions also give students the chance to take courses that they might otherwise not be able to take in other semesters or merely to lighten their course load for future semesters.
Along with courses offered in previous summer sessions, the College of Arts and Architecture will also be expanding the catalog with some new courses, including Introduction to Photography and Beginning Class Guitar, a course for non-music majors to learn the basics on how to play a guitar.
