All academic units in the College of Arts and Architecture are preparing to recognize outstanding students and alumni at the College’s annual Spring Awards Ceremony, on Friday, April 8, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. in Esber Recital Hall. Among the awards to be presented are the Creative Achievement medals, which recognize outstanding achievement by students in their final year (graduate and undergraduate) of study. In addition, the recipients of the Reuben and Gladys Golumbic Scholarships will be recognized, for outstanding work in the fields of performance, design, and humanistic achievement. The presentation of the Alumni Society Scholarships and the 2011 Arts and Architecture Alumni Awards round out the one-hour program, which is free and open to the public. Refreshments will follow the program, in the lobby of the Music Building.
