Dr. Robin Thomas, associate professor of art history, has been invited to present a lecture on “Palaces and Political Economy in 18th-Century Naples” at Cambridge University, UK, January 21, 2016.

Laura Almeida, Ph.D. candidate in art history, has been appointed a lecturer at Bucknell University during spring semester 2016 to teach a course on “Arts of the African Diaspora."

Janet Purdy, Ph.D. candidate in art history, has been selected to be a Humanities Without Walls Pre-Doctoral Fellow, July 18- August 5, 2016, in Chicago: http://www.humanitieswithoutwalls.illinois.edu/initiatives/pre-doctoral/index.html
 
Medora Ebersole, education and community programs manager for the Center for the Performing Arts, will spend seven weeks during the spring 2016 semester affiliated with the Harvard Graduate School of Education and Project Zero, where she will develop an assessment model for measuring levels of engagement in short-term activities, investigate new strategies for overcoming barriers in building audiences (equity and access), and look for art education funding.
