Lecture to Address Black Lives Matter Movement

The Institute for the Arts and Humanities will present a lecture by Dr. James Braxton Peterson, director of Africana studies and associate professor of English at Lehigh University, at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 5 in the Attic Room of the State Theatre in downtown State College. His talk, titled “A Song, A Slogan, and A Service: Dispatches from the Movement for Black Lives,” will provide several updates and insights on the Black Lives Matter movement.
