The Palmer Museum of Art is proud to present the tenth-anniversary season of this popular music series featuring faculty and student performers from the Penn State School of Music and the community, and invites you to come enjoy beautiful chamber music and virtuosic solo performances in an inspiring setting. Seating is limited.
Brent Register, guitar; Diane Gold Toulson, flute; and Cathy Herrera, flute, will perform Camerata Amistad: Gira Hispánica on Wednesday, January 21, at 12:10 p.m.
Jennifer Trost, mezzo-soprano; Amanda Silliker, mezzo-soprano; Richard Kennedy, tenor; Jonathan Gangi, guitar; and Sue Haug and Svetlana Rodionova, piano, will perform A Spanish Song Recital on Wednesday, February 18, at 12:10 p.m.
The Hi-Lo’s, a subset group of singers auditioned from the Penn State Glee Club, directed by Christopher Kiver, director of choral activities, will perform High Jinks with the Hi-Lo’s on Wednesday, March 18, 12:10 p.m.
Lisa Bontrager, horn, and the Penn State Horn Ensemble, a twenty-member ensemble comprised of the finest hornists on campus, will perform Horns a Plenty on Wednesday, April 15, 12:10 p.m.
The Palmer Museum of Art at Penn State is located on Curtin Road and admission is free. Museum hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 4:00 p.m. The museum is closed Mondays and some holidays.
