Sculptures in Love with Architecture, an exhibition by Penn State School of Visual Arts Assistant Professor Tom Laureman and Fabio J. Fernández, opened this week at the Ralph Arnold Fine Arts Annex in Chicago. Exploring architecture from the perspectives of the two artists, the works observe the sculptural aspects of architecture and its details. The exhibition consists of more than 100 small objects developed using a wide range of ceramic materials and processes, like hands and sandpaper, to advanced prototyping and mold making. The exhibition will be on display from September 6-October 6. For additional information on this exhibition, please visit: Sculptures in Love with Architecture.
