In an effort to make internal college communications more efficient, we will be moving to a weekly distribution schedule for the A&A Newsline, beginning Wednesday, Sept. 20. Deadline for submissions will be Mondays at 5 p.m. We will also be updating our format to better highlight announcements relevant to all faculty and staff, while still including news and feature stories. Our hope is that a weekly Newsline will cut down on emails and provide a single source for important information, including HR and IT announcements. The Newsline will complement the A&A Student Digest, which is distributed on Mondays.
Please send your submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org. The Dean’s Office will send emails to the college listserv only on an as-needed basis. The weekly deadline/distribution should allow sufficient time for faculty and staff to submit their announcements for inclusion in the Newsline, rather than last-minute distribution to the college listserv. Announcements sent to Amy Bucha or Jen Curry for the college listserv will be forwarded to the college Communications Office for inclusion in Newsline instead.
If you know of anyone who is not receiving the Newsline, please forward his/her name to email@example.com.
Just a reminder that the deadline for submissions for the Student Digest is Thursday at 5 p.m. to Alex Bush, firstname.lastname@example.org.
