Every two years, the role of president of the Arts and Architecture Alumni Society Board rotates to a different volunteer. In July, the board welcomed Kimberly Henrikson '98 BA (Art History) as president. Kim has served on the Alumni Society Board since 2008. She previously served the board in the roles of communications committee chair and during her two years as vice president/president-elect, served as chair of the nominating committee. Now serving alongside Kim in the vice president/president-elect role is Peter Margittai '93 B.Arch. (Architecture). Peter first served on the college board as the representative of the Archicture APG, but moved to an at-large director position where he is serving his first three-year term. Rounding out the leadership team of the board is secretary/treasurer Holly Leppo '98 BA (Integrative Arts/Schreyer) and Bill Holloway '82 B.Arch (Architecture), immediate past president.
Here are the other alumni who make up this committed board of directors. There are a couple of spaces open. Interest from alumni of any discipline will be considered, but particularly we would enjoy seeing higher participation from graphic design, music, and visual arts (including art education). If you don't see your major represented and would like to consider filling that gap, please contact the alumni office to express your interest.
